A Kotobukiya Japanese import! Kotobukiya has created several fantastic ARTFX Statues based on DC Comics characters, but there haven’t been any from the current “New 52” relaunch… until now. Slade Wilson was a member of the United States Army chosen for advanced training due to his peak physical condition and strength of will. He was also experimented on by the very same government he fought for, and with the enhancements they gave him became a mercenary and assassin. As one of the most dangerous men in the world he goes by the name of Deathstroke! Appearing in his own comic as part of DC’s New 52, the character was re-introduced to the world with an updated costume but the same hardcore attitude and superhuman weapons mastery.

A powerful addition to the DC ARTFX lineup, Deathstroke is captured in a fierce martial arts stance. The Terminator wears his unique New 52 style armor with a sleek bodysuit, built in boots, a sturdy utility belt, textured mail-like armored torso, and heavy shoulder harness. His pose is a partial lunge while he holds his sword in a two-handed guard position, as ever aimed at his enemies so he can cut them to pieces! All of the elements of Deathstroke’s armor are expertly sculpted from his spiked boots to his fearsome skull-like helmet and everything in between, while the detailed paint applications show off his traditional blue and orange color scheme. As an added bonus, Slade’s removable faceplate is attached via magnet so you can display him in his fully armored look or unmasked to reveal his scowling countenance and eye-patch!

Sculpted by Junosuke Abe, Deathstroke stands nearly 12 inches tall (in the ARTFX 1/6th scale) on a special display base. Slade Wilson is the perfect villain/antihero to add to your collection, and he looks great displayed alongside previous DC ARTFX Statues like Batman Black Costume or future New 52 releases!

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! The incredible Star Wars ARTFX+ lineup has already featured some of the most iconic heroes and villains from the Star Wars films, and now it returns to the final prequel to present the Supreme Commander of the Separatist droid army, General Grievous! A powerful alien cyborg with multiple arms and a mastery of the lightsaber, Grievous is one of the greatest threats the Jedi and the Republic have ever faced.

A vicious alien warlord made even more powerful by a cyborg body, General Grievous appears in full attack mode, advancing forward with his body hunched over and stolen Jedi lightsabers extended at his sides. Just like in Revenge of the Sith, this version of the Droid Commander has lots of tricks up his sleeves. Alternate parts let you display him with either two arms or four, and in either version he can also wear his long, flowing cape! Grievous’ cyborg body is intricately detailed in all of its skeleton-like glory, and his cruel eyes leer at you from within his skull shaped head. Like other ARTFX+ statues the commander has magnets in his feet for extra stability on his included display base.

ARTFX+ Statues are fun-to-assemble pre-painted snap-fit kits that can be easily put together in seconds without glue or modeling skill. General Grievous stands over 6 ½ inches tall (1/10th scale) and looks great displayed alongside other Star Wars statues!

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! This summer marks the big screen return of DC Comics’ Superman in Man of Steel, directed by Zack Snyder and produced by Christopher Nolan of the Batman franchise. Promising a brand new vision of the iconic superhero, the film stars Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel complete with an incredible redesigned costume that updates the traditional red, blue, and yellow. Kotobukiya is proud to present an all-new ARTFX statue to tie in with the upcoming blockbuster, Man of Steel’s Superman! While we won’t know the full extent of Snyder’s new take on Superman until the film releases this summer, it’s clear from the trailers and promotional images that it’s going to be big and action-packed. Kotobukiya’s Man of Steel statue captures the energy and power of the film’s hero in a fantastic new presentation. Superman stands in a powerful pose straight out of the movie’s trailers, half crouching with his arms curled and fists clenched. The Kryptonian is coiled and ready to spring into action, muscles taught beneath his suit… and what a suit it is! The Man of Steel film version of the iconic Superman costume combines the traditional comic book elements with futuristic materials and textures, melding it together into a sleek outfit that looks really cool. Expertly recreated for this statue, the hero’s suit is intricately sculpted to capture all of the subtle textures as well as the bold elements like the chest logo, boots, and piping effects. Equally impressive is the lifelike Henry Cavill as Superman head sculpt, powerful, serious, and otherworldly. Last but not least, this statue debuts a Kotobukiya first: a poseable cape that can be shaped and molded into nearly any position, allowing for a dynamic personalization of your display! Sculpted by RESTORE (Shinya Yamaoka), Superman stands over 10 ½ inches tall (1/6th scale) crouched over a special display base that incorporates the iconic “S” shield. This pre-painted, snap-fit ARTFX Statue is easy to assemble so you can have your Superman on display in no time. Arriving later this year just after the release of the film, this statue is the perfect way to celebrate Man of Steel and the greatest superhero of all time!

Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes is one of Tony Stark’s most trusted friends and has been by his side through thick and thin. Outfitted with the latest ballistic weaponry systems by the U.S. government, War Machine is a true juggernaut of offensive and defensive capabilities.

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! Kotobukiya’s line of DC Comics ARTFX+ Statues continues, capturing the look and costumes of DC Comics Super Heroes and villains. Following up on the Justice League comes one of Batman’s most popular antagonists (and sometimes partner), Catwoman!

Stealing the limelight in her skin-tight leather jumpsuit and carrying her trademark whip and claws, Catwoman stands in a relaxed pose, yet is light on her feet, ready to either fight or flee as the situation requires. Selina Kyle’s first appearance in the ARTFX+ lineup captures her classic look perfectly. The details on Catwoman are exceptional from the intricate folds and seams on her costume to the small touches like the zipper, boot buckles, whip, and claws. Kotobukiya’s unique take on Catwoman features a reflective sheen to her black cat-suit, with her fully painted features visible through her goggles.

Standing nearly 8 inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale), Catwoman was sculpted by master artist Goutaro Takeuchi (Atelier Bamboo), who previously sculpted the DC Comics New 52 Justice League ARTFX+ statues. Like the other DC ARTFX+ Statues, Catwoman has magnets in her feet for perfect stability on the included base, and she’ll look great displayed on your shelf by herself or alongside other DC ARTFX+ statues.

The Hulk has been a staple superhero of the Marvel Comics universe for years, battling foes across the universe in epic storylines. Mild-mannered scientist Dr. Bruce Banner was experimenting with highly volatile gamma radiation when an explosion bathed him with that green energy, transforming him into the enormous aggressive powerhouse known as the Hulk. As the massive creature Banner has been a menace to humanity as well as one of its greatest heroes, and in that respect has served with distinction among Marvel’s premiere champions. Celebrating his look in those comics comes an incredible brand new Fine Art Statue, Hulk Classic Avengers! The massive Hulk leaps straight off the pages of Avengers comics in all of his green skinned glory! The powerfully built hero stands on cracked and broken terrain, flexing his enormous muscles as he prepares to charge once more into battle against those who would threaten the Earth. Hulk has a wide-legged stance, balancing on his tree trunk-like legs while he leans forward and flexes one arm in front of him and one behind. Bruce Banner’s alter ego is all muscle, with rippling sinews and incredibly detailed anatomy including veins, toe and finger nails, and more under his subtly accented green-hued skin. He even wears his iconic purple pants, intricately sculpted with belt loops, seams, creases, and of course the shredded remains at his knees. Hulk also sports a fierce facial sculpt that captures the character’s never-ending rage, completing the look of what’s destined to become THE Hulk statue for collectors and comic book fans alike! Sculpted by artist Erick Sosa, Hulk stands on his special terrain display base in the same 1/6 scale as his fellow Avengers! Whether he’s standing by himself in your display or alongside the Fine Art Statues of his teammates Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, and Hawkeye, the mean green machine is sure to impress.

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! This summer one of the most popular Marvel superheroes returns to the silver screen. In the first two Iron Man films as well as the Avengers Robert Downey Jr. has played the perfect Tony Stark and his heroic alter ego Iron Man, with incredible special effects bringing his armored forms to life like never before. Following on the massive global success of the superhero team up movie Marvel is bringing the fans even more armored action with Iron Man 3 this May! Joining the previously announced Mark VII in the Iron Man 3 ARTFX Statue lineup is a new armored suit from the upcoming movie, Iron Man Mark 42!

After surviving imprisonment by terrorists, billionaire industrialist Tony Stark created the Mark II armor suit. This was followed up soon after by the iconic Mark III suit used to battle Stane and his Iron Monger suit at the culmination of the first film, and the upgraded Marks IV, V, and VI armor in the sequel. He went even further with the Mark VII in Avengers, using the high-tech armor to take on the army of the Chitauri. Now we get a sneak peek at the ultimate powered armor in Stark’s Iron Man 3 Mark 42. Similar to the Mark VII, the new version is a sleek machine with overlapping plates and a unique segmented look. Iron Man blasts into action, churning up water beneath him with his thrusters. The dynamic pose catches the superhero leaning back as he fires his repulsor ray from his outstretched right hand, clenching the left for a follow up attack. The Mark 42 is resplendent in metallic red and gold with a subtle new pattern unlike any of the armors before it. This version also comes equipped with an amazing LED light-up feature in his eyes and arc reactor; three settings (Off, Continuous On, and triggered by the built-in sound detector) let you choose how and when Iron Man activates for battle!

Iron Man Mark 42 stands 15 inches tall (1/6th scale) hovering over the lifelike water effect. This pre-painted, snap-fit ARTFX Statue is easy to assemble so you can have your Iron Man on display in no time. Arriving this summer along with the release of the film, the Mark 42 is just the first Iron Man 3 ARTFX statue from Kotobukiya; there are more to follow!

Available July 2013.
